Description

Just For Paws (JFP) is a well equipped veterinary hospital with all the modern equipment to help benefit your pet. With our in house Hemavet CBC and VetTest 8008/Vetlyte blood chemistry machines, the veterinarian can know within minutes what is going on with the organs of your sick pet. It can also be used to do preanesthetic profiles before an animal goes under surgery. For specialized tests, JFP uses both Antech and IDEXX outside labs to complete JFP's bloodwork capabilities.
The new Gendex Xray machine and AGFA processor can produce xrays fast and clear to help with the most difficult diagnosis. And, if necessary, many types of sugery can be done in house from a simple tumor removal to a torn ACL (knee ligament). Exotic surgery is made easier by the use of an Ellman Radiosurgery unit. All patients will be monitored by a nurse and the new MiniMax monitoring system. This modern compact unit can simultaneously take the patients temperature, EKG, blood pressure, respirations, and oxygen content of the blood.
If a contagious patient should need to be hospitalized, the isolation ward is kept separate for the rest of the animals. The air is replaced over 12 times an hour and the isolation ward has its own exhaust directly to the outside to prevent contamination to healthy patients. The cat ward has extra large cages and dog hospitalization can handle the smallest Chihuahua to the largest Great Dane with a variety of cage sizes and runs.
Our staff is friendly and courteous. The waiting area is equipped with a coffee bar and client telephone. And all the art work in the practice is for sale, courtesy of the Denver Art Guild. Dr.Georgiades and his staff are looking foward to making you and your pets smile big and wide.
