Dr. Golden and his staff are dedicated to providing you and your pet with the best possible veterinary care in a gentle, caring environment. Our commitment to progressive medicine, state of the art diagnostics and surgery promises to keep us at the forefront of animal health providers. Your pets are treated just like we would like our own to be cared for. For your convenience we have early morning and late evening appointments.
We provide care for dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds and exotics. Our hospital provides a range of services including radiology, surgery, EKG, internal medicine, pulse oximetery, in-hospital blood testing, clinical and diagnostic laboratory services, pharmacy, dentistry, patient visiting hours, cat boarding, nutrition center, ultrasound and other amentities. We are extremely proud of our facility and invite you to tour our hospital and meet our family of animal health professionals.

Dr. Brian Golden

Veterinarian

Dr. Golden grew up on the East Coast. He is retired from the U.S. Navy as QMC. Dr. Golden graduated as a D.V.M. from Colorado State University after which, in 1975 he opened Lake Murray Village Veterinary Clinic in La Mesa. Dr. Golden also serves as a consulting veterinarian at Sea World.

Maura is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University. She has worked in the veterinary field for 9 years in Los Angeles and San Diego. Maura has two furry, four-legged friends - Shelley, a 7 year old Australian mix, and Zia, a 10 month old Australian Shepard mix. In her leisure time, Maura enjoys hiking, roller blading, and gardening in her turn-of-the century California Craftsman.
