Take the San Diego Freeway (405) North to the 7th Street Exit. Take 7th street to Pacific Coast Highway and turn right (going North). Continue on Pacific Coast Highway to Anaheim street (the next light) and turn left. Take Anaheim street to Mira Mar (2 blocks past Termino) and turn left. We are on the corner of Mira Mar and Anaheim street. Park on Mira Mar, Anaheim Street, or in the parking lot of Planet Pet. The green curbs are OK for parking also.

Dr. Palazzolo graduated from Michigan State University in 1978. After working in MI for 2 years he moved to California to be able to work more with exotic animals. In 1985 he completed his MBA from Pepperdine University. Dr. P has been at the LBAH since 1989.

Dr. Ridgeway graduated from Atlantic Veterinary College in 1991. He is a native of Long Beach, and carries on a long family tradition of undergraduate work at U.S.C. He has been working at the LBAH since July of 1991, and became a part owner in 1997.

Dr. Don Petersen, V.M.D.

Dr. Petersen is a Huntington Beach native. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary school in the summer of 1999. Don externed at the Philadelphia Zoo, the National Aquarium in Baltimore, the University of Florida, and North Carolina State University. Like all of our doctors he works on all species, and has a special interest in avian and fish medicine.
