Stacey Rader, RVT

Registered Veterinary Technician

Stacey Rader received her B.S. in Biology from Santa Clara University and is a Registered Veterinary Technician in California. She has been working in the veterinary field for seven years. Stacey is especially interested in client education, rabbit, ferret and exotic pet care, and surgical nursing. When she is not working Stacey enjoys spending time with her husband Ed and their animal family including Ninjin, Winston, Horton and Salmon the cats; Roscoe, Abby and Daisy the rabbits; Irwin the bearded dragon; Rico the cockatiel; and Lucy the dog.

Dr. Taylor grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and Santa Monica, California. He attended the University of California at Davis for his undergraduate, graduate and veterinary school studies. After graduating in 1987, he completed an internship in small animal medicine, surgery and cancer medicine at Purdue University's Veterinary School. He has been in private practice in the Mountain View/Los Altos area since. Professional memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians and Association of Amphibian and Reptile Veterinarians. Areas of special interest include diagnostic ultrasound, endoscopy and veterinary care for rabbits, ferrets, birds and reptiles.
Dr. Taylor resides in Mountain View with his wife, Wendy, and two children, Lauren and Drew.
Other family members include Maguire, the lab; McBill, the Amazon parrot; Persimmon, Sydney and Anna, the cats; Tweedle Dum, the tortoise; and Roxanne, C'est La Vie and Patrick, the horses.
Outside of practice, Dr. Taylor rides and competes in hunter/jumper, dressage and eventing.
