Our mission here at Norway Veterinary Hospital is to provide your pet with the best possible care. From preventative medicine to orthopedic surgery, we want to help ensure that your family member is as happy and healthy as can be. The five veterinarians here at Norway Veterinary Hospital are highly skilled in diagnosis and are knowledgeable about the most advanced and best treatment methods available for your pet.

Norway Veterinary Hospital was founded almost 30 years ago in 1971 and we have recently expanded and remodeled to accomodate our growing practice.

We know how much you care about your pet, because we care about them too. That is why we here at Norway Veterinary Hospital have always done our best to keep your pet healthy.

Orthopedic Surgery-

In 1994 Dr. Todd Gauger began offering his expertise in small animal orthopeics to area veterinarians on a referral basis. His primary areas of interest are facture repair and joint surgery. He currently receives referral cases from over 75 hospitals in Maine and New Hampshire.
In 2003 Dr. Gauger became the first veterinarian in Maine to be licensed to perform tibial plateeau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) for correction of anterior cruciate ligament injuries. He currently performs over 200 repairs a year.

Complimentary Medicine-

Because we want to provide every comfort and healing method for your pet, we now offer Reiki and Flower Essences for all injured, ill, or boarded animals at our hospital.

Ultrasound-

We are proud to offer the services of Dr. John MacGregor, a Board Certified Cardiologist from the Animal Medical Center of New England. Dr. MacGregor is available for consultation and diagnostic ultrasound at our Norway office on a regular basis.
