Dr. George Palmer

Veterinarian

"I graduated from Cornell in '79, worked briefly in Chenango and St. Lawrence counties and returned home in '81. I have 4 active kids who are involved in all sorts of sports and academics, and I myself am involved in the local hockey scene - so try to avoid emergencies during the games (Just Kidding!). Believe it or not, I do have other committments outside the practice. I spend most of my time on the road now, doing large animal calls and the best time to catch me is 7:00am Monday - Friday mornings. I may be in the office depending on the outside workload on Tuesday evenings 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Dr. Cathy Ralston

Veterinarian

Dr. Cathy Ralston has been with Palmer Veterinary for over five years. She is a small animal practitioner. Dr. Ralston is a graduate of Peru High School and a 1990 graduate of NYS College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University.

Dr. Karen Firda

Veterinarian

"I graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. I am originally from Massachusetts and but moved to Clinton County 9 years ago, for the dairy farms, mountains, and snow. I have been practicing dairy medicine (and everything else!) since moving here. But I am also an avid cat lover and Rocky's (our hospital cat) loving guardian. I look forward to meeting you and providing your veterinary needs !"

Jeanne Kelley

Receptionist

Jeanne Kelley (Morning Receptionist)- "I have been with Dr. Lynn and Dr. George Palmer since 1982, as the full time receptionist and can answer all your routine questions. I am also responsible for inputting dairy farm invoices daily. I am here at 6:00 AM Mon - Fri., to answer your calls."

Bob Walker

Office Manager

I have worked here since 1996 administering all the immediate financial needs of the practice. My areas of responsibility include: accounts payable, monthly billings, purchasing medical supplies, staffing, scheduling, customer service, and....whatever George doesn't want to do! I'm excited about our activity with E-commerce on the Internet, and encourage everyone's input."

Marlene Delaney

Veterinary Technician

"I grew up with cows and horses on a small family farm in Cadyville and I am also a cat and horse lover! In1983 I graduated from Cobleskill ATC with an Animal Husbandry Degree. I graduated from Delhi in 1985 with a Veterinary Science Technology Degree. I have worked with Dr. Palmer with both large and small animals since June of 1985. I also do receptionist duties as necessary, Mon. - Fri. and Sat. mornings. I am in charge of large and small animal laboratory tests and results."

Kevin Mitchell

Kevin has been here for 8 years. His work involves maitencance and up keep of the kennels and assisting the vets in all aspects of treatment. Kevin also is experienced in preparation and inventory of all our pharmaceutical drugs.

Molly Bushey

Molly has been here for 8 years. She works part-time mostly in the evenings. The rest of her time is primarily spent taking care of her horses.

Jessica Godin

" I graduated from SUNY Canton in 1997 as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. I have been here for a little over one year. My duties primarily include the lab work and x-rays, and providing our grooming service.

Janet Calkins

As our afternoon receptionist, joined our staff in August of 1998. As a long time breeder of Cocker Spaniels, Janet brings a lot of canine experience to our clinic. "My duties here at Palmers primarily deal with Small Animals: making appointments, invoicing, administering client rebate and coupon programs, our client literature program, and vaccination reminder duties."

Bridget Lavigne

I have been with Palmer Veterinary Clinic since the spring of 2002. When I am not working, I am very busy on my farm where I raise and show registered appaloosa horses.
