In March, 1999, Dr. John Hess and his wife Wendy opened the doors of Pine Grove Animal Hospital. They formed their partnership with the goal of providing consistently excellent veterinary medical, dental and surgical services in a comfortable, attractive setting where both owners and their pets would feel welcome and appreciated. Together, they offer a depth of skill and experience, love for animals and their unique spirits, creativity and enthusiasm for their calling under their mission statement: Longer, healthier, happier lives for your pets.

John Hess, DVM is a 1975 graduate of the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Oklahoma State University and served for several years in the United States Air Force Corps.

Wendy Hess is our practice manager. Wendy and her husband Dr. Hess decided in 1998 to open their own practice. Wendy is the "style" in the practice. Her decorating and furniture designs bring fantastic response from visitors to the practice.
