Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Sokhey took over Prairie Animal Hospital in June of 2004. He graduated from Punjab University of Agriculture in India in 1991. He did his residency in Ames, Iowa and has been in the United States for more than five years now with his wife and three children. He enjoys the surgical aspect of veterinary medicine the most.

Jessica graduated MATC in May of 2007. She earned her certification in June of 2007. She has 2 dogs and 1 cat as well as a rabbit "herd." She and her newlywed husband live in Elkhorn and are expecting their first baby!

Melody has been a client at the clinic for 18+ years, but has currently been employed with the staff since January of 2005. She lives in Janesville with her husband, 4 dogs and 3 sons. She enjoys outdoor activities and bowling.

Paula has worked for Dr. Niedfeldt for 6 years. She works in the mornings managing the files and paperwork while continuing to greet and help clients. She lives in Beloit with her husband and 3 poodles.

Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant

Tina joined our staff in the spring of 2008. She has 2 children and a husband in the army. She has just started a position as an assistant and bathes cats and dogs. TIna has 2 dogs at home, and enjoys fishing.

Sherrie works part time a few evenings a week with us, circulating herself mostly in the reception area and in the kennel area.

Sarah graduated from MATC in 2007 and joined our clinic in September 2008. She lives in Janesville with her 2 cats and dog Rocky.

Katie just rejoined the clinic this summer. She works afternoons greeting clients, and helping out with everything from cleaning kennels to getting medications ready.
