Dr. Abrahamzon came to us from a veterinary practice in Oshkosh, WI. She is a 1991 graduate from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. She has made her daily commute from Lincoln to work with us since March 1993.
Dermatology is a special interest of Dr. Abrahamzon. She finds working with the skin problems of animals a fun challenge. She also sees the importance of preventative health care and enjoys working with pet owners to provide that care and strengthen the human-pet-veterinarian bond.
She keeps busy at home as she enjoys riding and showing her Quarter Horses. She also spends time with her dog, Bailey, and her many cats.

A. Erickson

|
Dr. Erickson started at Ralston Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary school intern and was hired in June 1976.
Dr. Erickson has seen many changes in pet owner awareness. Owners have become more knowledgeable and involved in the health and nutrition of their pet. The one thing Dr. Erickson has seen that has not changed is the loyal support of our many clients who trust the care of their pets to us.
Dr. Erickson enjoys providing client education, doing orthopedic surgery and working on difficult internal medicine cases.
Away from work, Dr. Erickson enjoys his childrens' sports and school activities. Basketball, softball, golf, and trips to the mountains are the recreational areas he looks forward to during his off-time.

He finds soft tissue and orthopedic surgery interesting. He also enjoys the fields of ophthalmology and emergency medicine.

N.B. Jernigan

|
D.V.M.
|
|
Dr. Jernigan has been a familiar face at Ralston Veterinary Clinic since 1965. After 2 years of duty in the Army he returned to Ralston Veterinary Clinic in 1968 and has remained since.
His face may be more familiar in the countryside surrounding the Omaha area. "Doc" or "Dr. J" are the more familiar names we've heard his large animal clients call him. He enjoys doctoring horses, pigs, and cattle and puts many miles on his truck. The stories Dr. Jernigan has gathered in his country work could undoubtedly fill a book. He begins and ends his business day in the clinic as he also works on our beloved pets.
The 30+ years of practicing veterinary medicine has given Dr. Jernigan many opportunities to travel to numerous U.S. cities and abroad for veterinary medical conventions. He has enjoyed his travel time while furthering his veterinary education. Aside from his work and traveling, Dr. Jernigan enjoys spending time with his young grandson.
Those who have worked with Dr. Jernigan will agree that throughout his years at Ralston Veterinary Clinic he has displayed a constant positive attitude (through fire, tornado, flooding and power outages) while maintaining a keen sense of high business ethics.
