We have always understood the human pet bond.

Dr. Morley has devoted the past 40 years of his life to Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital and to the Laurel community. His father built and began Rocky Gorge over 50 years ago. He is now semi-retired.

Dr. Steven Wolchinsky

|
Dr. Wolchinsky is a native of Brooklyn, NY, and has worked at Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital for the past 14 years. He is the co-owner of the hospital and has been running the day-to-day veterinary operations for the past 5 years. He attended Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wolchinsky is married and has a son, daughter, dog, two cats and a bird.

Dr. Morris holds a DVM degree from Texas A&M in 1975. Her hobbies include anything animal related, with a special interest in horses, Dobermans, animal chiropractic and homeopathy. Dr. Morris is married with 2 daughters, more than 20 horses, 3 Dobies, 3 cats, 6 geese and 2 white doves.

Dr. Batten received a DVM from Tuskegee Institute of Veterinary Medicine. After receiving her degree, she did a post graduate internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Michigan State University. Dr. Batten has been on staff at Rocky Gorge for 6 years. She lives in Baltimore with her husband, Bill, and 2 cats, Simon and Lindseit.

Dr. Farnan is from Annapolis, Maryland. She received her DVM degree from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Farnan has worked at Rocky Gorge since 1994. She is married and has a son, twin daughters and 3 cats.

Dr. Holmes was in the USMC from 1975-1979. He holds a BA from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 1983. He received a DVM from Ohio State University in 1987. Married since 1983, Dr. Holmes has 2 daughters and 1 son. His 4 dogs include a poodle, Great Dane and 2 lab mixes. His interests include photography, motorcycling and fishing. His special interest in veterinary medicine is in general surgery.

Dr. Mullenex is from Virginia. She attended Virginia Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. She lives in Baltimore with her Jack Russell terrier and a large orange tabby.

Dr. Oliver is from New Orleans, LA. She received a B.S. both in Zoology and Pharmacy with a minor in art from LSU. She holds a DVM from Blacksburg, VA. Before joining Rocky Gorge, Dr. Oliver worked at an animal hospital in Boston. Prior to that, she worked as a research pharmacist at John Hopkins Oncology Pharmacy. Her interests include the outdoors - hiking, camping, canoeing and skiing. She also enjoys art and painting as well as Mardi Gras.

Kim's goal is to become a licensed technician and to raise her son to be a responsible and loving adult. Her hobbies include singing, acting, horseback riding and gardening. Kim is married with 1 son. Her household also included 4 cats, 1 dog, 2 lizards and a frog. Her favorite breeds are Brown Tabby's and Beagle babies.

Her pets include 1 cat named Buffett.

Jen is the mother of an 8 year old daughter. She is also the owner of a beautiful Chow and 10 adopted cats. All from Rocky Gorge Animal Hospital! She has found her niche at Rocky Gorge and working with animals for the past 5 years. Jen would like to work with dolphins in the future. She is currently studying sign language at CCBC to become a certified interpreter.

Helen has been at Rocky Gorge for over 30 years. She has worn almost every hat at the hospital. She has worked side by side with Dr. Morley helping to build Rocky Gorge to what it is today. She is the mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 beautiful children.
