Dr. Robert Baker and the staff of San Geronimo Valley Veterinary Vet Clinic have been working to keep your pets healthy and happy ever since Dr. Baker began running the clinic in 1983. Our mission is to provide you and your pets with service of the highest quality, keeping your companions healthy and giving you piece of mind.
We believe that it is through communicating with you, the pet owner, that we can both work together to give your pet a happy and healthy home environment. Pets are an important part of all our lives, and we want nothing more than to ensure that your friends remain with you for a long, long time.

Dr. Robert Baker grew up in the Central Valley town of Turlock, California. His family had a dairy farm and his father was a large animal veterinarian. Dr.Baker is a 1972 graduate of UC Berkeley in Psychology and of the UC Davis Veterinary School in 1981. Two of his brothers are also veterinarians. He and his wife Cathy have two sons; Nick 23, and Will 12.
His hobbies include masters swimming,skin and scuba diving,beer brewing, crossword puzzles, and gardening.

Petra Toriumi has been an integral part of our clinic since 1987. She was raised in West Marin, graduated from Drake High School in 1966 and from San Francisco City College as a Radiology Technician in 1972. She is married and has three grown daughters. She is an avid cowgirl and enjoys competing in western events in her spare time.

Wendy has been a valued member of our team since 1997. She migrated to the Bay Area from West Virginia a few years ago and decided to stay. She is currently taking classes at College of Marin with an eye on a degree in accounting or perhaps Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time she heads to the beach for surfing or boogie-boarding and loves to travel to exotic places when she and her husband Kelly have the chance. Her beloved yellow lab, Sugar, is her constant companion

Jessica has been with us since 1995. She is a native of the Valley, but grew up in Rio De Janero, Brazil. She attends College of Marin in her spare time where she majors in liberal arts. She enjoys photography, travel and dancing. She was recently married.

Cynthia has worked at our clinic since January of 2001 and lives in Lagunitas. Her hobbies are horseback riding, dancing, and collecting antiques.

Allison is the newest member of our staff. She recently graduated from Drake High School and is now attending Sonoma State College. She is an avid horsewomen and loves animals of all kinds.
