Tenth Street Animal Hospital, PC is a full service hospital bringing you the best in health care for your pets. We are proud to be Pitt County's only AAHA certified hospital since 1994.
The hospital is located at 3118 East Tenth Street, with convenient hours Monday through Saturday. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, and are encouraged to help keep waiting time to a minimum. Saturday morning patients are seen on a first come basis, with no appointments.
Emergency service is available for our clients, provided by our staff veterinarians. To reach the veterinarian on call, please call 830-0881.
We offer comprehensive medical and surgical care, including on site diagnostics. We can provide for all your pet health care needs, from routine vaccinations to hospitalization and surgical care of critical patients. Our staff of experienced veterinarians and support staff are dedicated to caring for your pet with compassion and responsibility.

Dr. Hayes is a graduate of Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine and did undergraduate studies at NC State University. After moving to Greenville, Dr. Hayes worked for 4 years for Dr. Joe Bateman prior to establishing Tenth Street Animal Hospital in 1987. With the arrival of Drs. Medhus and Hubbard-Medhus in 2002, the Firetower Animal Clinic was opened.
