Travel Directions

The Pet Hospital is located at 5100 N. Star Road in the Meridian-Star area. We are on Star Road between McMillan Road and Chinden Boulevard. From Chinden Blvd., we are 3/4 of a mile south. From Interstate 84, get off at exit 38, just West of Meridian and the Swiss Village Cheese Factory. From the off ramp, circle back east to travel past the Idaho Center to the 4 way stop sign at Star Road and Franklin. The Swiss Village Cheese Factory is on the NE corner of that intersection. Turn left, which is North on Star Road, and go approximately 3 3/4 miles crossing McMillan Road. We are on the right hand side. The Pet Hospital's goal is to provide the best possible veterinary health care for our patients and the finest personalized service to our clients in an environment of friendliness, understanding and compassion.
The Pet Hospital provides full service veterinary care for dogs and cats in a modern hospital setting. We have a very friendly staff whos priority is to provide personalized veterinary services to your pets.
We offer full medical, surgical, preventative health care, lab and dental services to help you keep your "best friends" healthy and happy.
We are conveniently located at 5100 N. Star Road, just 3/4 mile south of Chinden Boulevard in the Meridian-Star area. We provide "country atmosphere" services with all the technology of the city.

Staff Members

Dr. Gary T Wilson, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Wilson graduated from Washington State University School of Veterinary Medicine in Pullman Washington. He is a native born Idahoan. Dr. Wilson enjoys the outdoor life in Idaho. He is an avid fisherman, and bow hunter. He enjoys white water rafting and camping in the wilds of Idaho.

Robin Hayes

Office Manager

Robin has been the office manager of The Pet Hospital since it opened in 1991. She loves her job and is dedicated to helping each patient and owner receive the veterinary care they need in a personalized manner. She is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and has a masters degree from Cal State Fullerton. She and her husband David, an equine veterinarian, designed and built the hospital to serve the rural residents of Ada and Canyon County.

Chris Ross

Veterinary Technician

Chris joined the staff at The Pet Hospital in February of 2000. She has over 10 years of experience in clinical settings and working with the humane society. She trains and shows working German Shepards.

Brenda Yee

Veterinary Technician

Brenda is a graduate of the Yuba City Community College Veterinary Technician 2 year program.

Jeanne Newbill

Veterinary Technician

Jeanne has worked for The Pet Hospital since 1991. She has gained all her skills on the job, and by attending technician classes offered at various veterinary conferences and seminars. She and her husband Wayne are Seed Farmers in the Meridian area.

Robyn Eaton

Veterinary Technician

Robyn has worked for The Pet Hospital since 1994. She has over 10 years of experience as a technician, learning on the job skills.

Liz Workland

Receptionist

Liz has been with The Pet Hospital for over 3 years. She adds the creative touch to the hospital. She is a designer,tailor and owns Dry Creek Designs, creating "one of a kind" horse show attire for the professional horse show competitor.
