We are current members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Dr. Bill Ackerman is an original founder of the Central Florida Academy of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Bill is a 1969 graduate of Auburn University. He has a special interest in surgery and dermatology. He is founding member of the Central Florida Academy of Veterinary Medicine, which provides ongoing continuing education seminars from world-renowned veterinary specialists.

Dr. Joy is a 1985 graduate of Auburn University. She joined Dr. Bill at Animal Clinic 192 after they were married in 1990. She has a special interest in Feline Internal Medicine and Geriatric care of both the feline and canine patient. The Drs. Ackerman have five children and one granddaughter. They also have four, 4-legged kids, three cats and one dog.

Danny came to Animal Clinic 192 in 2004 from the Bronx in New York City. He is a kind, considerate, and skilled care-giver whom your pets will come to know and feel very comfortable with. Danny has eight years experience as a veterinary technician and has special skills in animal handling, and as a surgical nurse. Our clients all put a great deal of well-deserved trust in Danny to give the best care to their pets available.
Danny is bilingual and a great asset for our Spanish speaking clients.

Jennifer joined Animal Clinic 192 in 2005 also from The Hamptons on Long Island, NY. She has been a veterinary technician for twenty years. She offers a valuable asset to our clinic in her love to educate clients about ways in which they can help keep their pets healthy and happy well into their senior years. Jennifer has a very tender heart and her compassion, skill, and love for your pet will be evident from the very first day.
