Mrs. Rachel Taylor

Veterinary Assistant

Rachel lives in Mount Gilead. She and her husband Jason have a Jack Russel Terrier named Jaycee who, like most Jack Russels is totally out of control and totally spoiled - and with her cat, Gray Wolf.
Rachel is a Mount Gilead native and a graduate of Mount Gilead High School.
In our Clinic, Rachel is responsible for the care of hospitalized patients, helping in the lab and assisting Dr.Taylor in the exam room. As she has the best penmanship in the group we frequently call on her to address envelopes or write notes when legibility is important - like if someone needs to read it. Rachel enjoys working on her computer in her spare time.

William M. Taylor, M.S., D.V.M.

Veterinarian, DVM

Dr. Taylor lives with his wife Beverly just outside of Mount Gilead. They have two grown children: Luke and Susan, both of whom reside - for some unknown reason - in Minneapolis, Susan with her husband. Luke is still hopeful.
The Taylors have two dogs: Ace-King-of- Dogs (Giant Schnauzer) and Shed (Navajo "Res" Dog), plus three cats: Momaday, Solamon and Picalo Pumkin.
Bill and Beverly enjoy their hobbie of keeping track of their kids. Beverly has retired from her work as a nurse.
Dr. Taylor is a graduate of The Ohio State Uni. College of Veteriary Medicine. He kicked around S.E Asia for a few years, did a post-doctral at the University of Mexico and worked in research (FL.& N.J.) for several years before the family moved to Mount Gilead as a good place to raise their children. That was about twenty-five years ago! The kids are gone and Bill and Beverly have inherited their pets.

Plato

Comedian

Plato joined our staff as court jester and entertainer about five years ago. Officially he is a Blue Fronted Amazon Parrot.
Plato was born (hatched) in March of '98 right here in Morrow County. (We would never support or condone the importation or caging of wild-caught birds.) His hobbies are squawking, talking and showing off his acrobatic abilities. He especially enjoys children - and their fingers,
He would enjoy a visit and a sunflower seed so stop by and say hello. He'll answer if he feels like it.

Mrs. Ann Tittle

Veterinary Assistant

Ann has been employed at the Village Veterinary Clinic for about four years with a "sabatical" of a year to allow her more time for her family, namely her husand David and their young son Trip. Ann is a Virginian by birth but moved to Ohio about five years ago. Ann assists Dr. Taylor in the exam room and in surgery. The Tittles live in northern Morrow County. In addition to her two-legged family she lives with their Boxer - Daphanie, cats - Smokie and Abbi and ferrets - Smokie and Badger. Ann and David are looking forward to moving into their new house which is under construction.

Ms Helen Witschi

Office Manager

Helen's is the friendly voice on the phone and the smiling face behind the counter between 8:oo am and 3:30 pm most days. Helen is a Mansfield area native. She moved to Columbus for a number of years. While in the "big city" she volunteered with one of the humane societies. She continues to do some pet rescue work where she now lives in the Chesterville area. She has 4 dogs, 6 cats and 1 rabbit. Helen enjoys walking with her dogs, gardening and spending time with her 3 grandchildren.

Joyce Miller

Veterinary Assistant

Joyce had been employed at the Village Veterinary Clinic since Noah's flood (more than 15 years). She assists Dr. Taylor with surgeries, maintains the surgical supplies and, like everyone, does whatever needs to be done. Joyce lives with her husband Rusty in Galion. They have a married daughter, Tina who is an OSU student. Joyce and Rusty enjoy their extended family and are "bad bikers" when the weather permits.
