Dr. Robin Waltz

Dr. Waltz is a 1979 graduate of Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of the State & National Veterinary Medical Associations and past president of the 9th district IVMA. Dr. Waltz is currently serving on the Jefferson County Board of Health and is co-chairman of the IVMA Peer Review board. Dr. Waltz resides in Madison with husband Tony, daughters Emily & Abby and the family pets - Hazel, Groucho & Phoebe. In her spare moments, Dr. Waltz enjoys gardening, tennis and singing in the choir at Trinity United Methodist.

Dr. Sonja Tandy

Dr. Tandy graduated from Purdue's School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and has been an associate veterinarian at Waltz Animal Clinic since graduation. She also hold a bachelors degree in animal science and is a member of the AVMA and IVMA. Dr. Tandy enjoys her own personal menagerie of pets at home and is assisting husband Dwayne in converting a rustic barn on Rykers' Ridge into their future home.

Becky has been a pleasant and efficient addition to the front desk since August, 2000. Prior to her employment here, she served 11 years as a receptionist and medical assistant at KDH's Madison Clinic. Becky has found working with animals and their people a refreshing change of pace.

Becky re-joined our practice in May of 2000. Her grooming clients appreciate her attention to detail and the extra TLC she gives their pets.

Abigail Waltz

Abby is Dr. Waltz's youngest daughter and has intentions of attending veterinary school in the future. She is a senior at Madison High and fills in at the clinic where and as needed. She is an active teenager and enjoys tennis, cross country, academic teams, etc. etc.

Tony Waltz

Practice Manager

|
Tony is the part-time manager of the non-medical aspects of the practice. He is Dr. Waltz's husband, Abby's dad and has been here since the beginning. Tony also built our original building in 1982 as well as the 1990 and 1999 additions.

Beth Grissom

Beth has been a valuable staff member since 1995. Her experience and knowledge allow her to rotate between the reception desk and the treatment & surgery areas with equal proficiency. Beth shares a home in downtown Madison with a houseful of urban pets.

Peggy began her career in animal medicine with us in 1994 after serving several years as a surgical nurse at KDH. Peggy resides in Milton, KY and enjoys showing off her new grandson.

Pam has returned to the Madison area after a 3 year absence. Pam was previously a groomer and technician at our clinic for ten years. She looks forward to visiting with her previous grooming clients (and their pets!)
