Dr. David W Zanders

Dr. Zanders graduated from Kansas State University in 1976. He has practiced small animal medicine and surgery in San Diego since that time. He opened WBVH in 1981. Dr. "Z" has been involved with numerous animal welfare organizations including SNAP (Spay/Neuter Action Project), PROP (People for Responsible Ownership of Pets), FCC (Feral Cat Coalition), and is currently on the board of the Escondido Humane Society. He received the Helen Woodward Humane Award in 1996 and was honored at the Escondido Humane Society Dinner of Champions in 2001. Listen to Dr. Zanders on the radio! The Dr.Dog Radio Show is on KFMB, AM 760 on Sunday mornings from 8:00-10:00 with behaviorist Dr. Dennis Fetko and Dr.Zanders from 9:30-10:00.
